I am a great fan of sachin until india vs bangladesh match on 16th march 2012. sachin 100th ton which is praised all over the world as a historic ton and superb knock is really a worthless and selfish knock.I was eagerly watching sachin's 100th ton knock from the beginning of the match.After losing gauti's wicket at the start of the match I thought sachin is studying the wicket at the beginning of the match and I thought he may pick up his innings after 30 overs.But that never happened and I thought he might atleast play his natural play during the 35-40 over powerplay 3 but that too hasn't happened and his play only became slower over after over and he deteriorated the situation of india and I think sachin might be in his nervous 80's and 90's only to make the situation even worse and atlast at 5.05 pm sachin created history but left the indian team in a shallow darkness from which indians can never come back.Sachin wasted nearly 33balls in his knockwhen he was out for 114 from 143 balls.
Sachin scored this blunderous knock in a flat bangladeshi batting wicket to score his selfish century.
After that it was our captain cool dhoni who again played a good knock to place india to a reasonable 289 runs.
It wasn't a good total in a flat deck bangladeshi pitch and it also showed the color of our blunderous pace attack as they were thrashed black and blue by the bangladeshi youngsters.
It finally ended up with a heart breaking win for bangladesh over india for the first time in asia cup history.
It came to limelight how our "god of cricket" under performed to score his 100th ton and left india in a shallow darkness.
This loss also dashed india's hopes of making it to the asia cup finals.
I heard sachin joked that he lost 50kgs but really he not only lost 50kgs but also gave a huge blow to india's campaign in asia cup.
Sachin should look for instant retirement from odi after this selfish 100th ton and concentrate more on his test career.
50% of sachin's fan turned up against him ;) . they love India more than sachin :D .

DeleteYou should not blame him. I agree that whenever he makes century team loses but hav you ever looked he made century 49 times in odis and India have losed 13 times even when dilshan makes 150+ s'lanka loses do they blame him.? No then why should we blame sachin.
ReplyDeleteI agree he played slow after 85 runs but even we feel hurting when he dont get 100. And making 100 in field and talking about it has alot difference. Even dho it was his 100th 100 so pressure was always on after 90s
Sachin should have played his natural innings he had played in the final odi fixture against pakistan and he himself told that he isnot playing for records then why he should play a very selfish innings when indian team was in deep trouble and it had led us out of asia cup.
